TheBartender ethos; great cocktails need not cost the earth.

Our aim is to be able to provide great cocktails for everyone, not just the rich and famous. We were the first company to offer bartender hire on an hourly basis, giving customers the freedom to have a mixologist for as long or as short as they want.

TheBartender was also the first cocktail company to recommend the client purchasing their own ingredients and glassware on a ‘shopping list’ basis, to again give the client the freedom to shape their spending, thus helping their budget to stretch that little bit further.

TheBartender was founded by Lewis J. Spindlove in 2005. Since then he has managed and run the company in a consistently professional manner, aiming to provide clients with a throughly individual and custom-built service, replying to all enquiry emails and phone calls personally as well as attending the majority of events. Lewis himself is a skilled mixologist & flair bartender with several recognisable awards to his name.

The bartenders that we provide are all fully cocktail trained, with at least four years of bar experience. Most are also fully skilled in the art of bottle juggling, or ‘flair’ as it is known within the industry.

All of our bartenders are fully insured both with liability and employers insurance.

We are based in Bristol and Leeds but we do have bartenders in London & surrounding, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Brighton, Plymouth, Portsmouth, Southampton, Devon, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle, Sheffield Cardiff, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Dundee. See the map opposite for a more detailed look at where our bartenders are located across the UK.
