Lockdown rules are easing off rapidly, with pubs and hairdressers opening last week, nail salons opening today, and shops opening bit by bit across England and soon in Scotland and Wales.
Mixing cocktails isn’t an essential service, we know this, you know this. We’re excited to get back to work, and as such, we’ve taken the decision to begin our face-to-face events from the end of July. We want to ensure safety, but still enable you to enjoy some great drinks without too much disruption of service. Below are a few pointers on how these are going to change:
Events and our bar setups to be situated outdoors.
Guest limits: for now, we will only attend events with a maximum of 30 guests, to include all staff. This may increase in line with government guidelines.
A sign will be placed on the bar to ask guests to keep their distance from the bartender whilst their drinks are being prepared.
Bartenders will wear face masks.
The bartender will need to have access to fresh water in order to wash hands regularly.
The area the bartender is working in will be thoroughly cleaned at the beginning of service, and at durations throughout the event.
If we are supplying glassware, this will need to be collected by yourselves and delivered to an area for breakdown at the end of the evening.
We may impose a couple of further changes as time goes on, but the above is what we deem to cover the most important bases for now.
Of course, to minimise contact at all, you can try one of our remote cocktail workshops to be enjoyed with your friends and family. Prices start from £30 per person including drinks.
Thanks for your patience, and for your understanding.
Take care, and stay safe.
