During lockdown, the team decided to grab the toolbox and turn a corner of the warehouse into a fully functioning cocktail bar, complete with a massive range of spirits and bar tools in order to whip up faithful Old Fashioneds and deathly Zombies for your viewing pleasure.

The Bar From Afar has been created for our new cocktail classes where you take part from the comfort of your home, office, or holiday cottage. In line with more and more people working from home, we understand that our traditional means of social interaction are going to be missed; the water cooler, the work canteen, and especially the Friday night drinks in the Dog & Duck.
You can have a box large enough for 6 of you to participate all in one home, or you can all be in your individual homes. Some of our customers have booked double boxes for each household so that they can take part in ‘bring a friend to work’ day and introduce a partner, housemate, neighbour or family member to their usual zoom meetings.
Choose your date, choose your drinks, choose your friends, and we’ll send a box to each of you with all the ingredients you need to learn 3 cocktails each. You’ll need to supply some glassware and ice, as well as some simple kitchen equipment (or you can buy an incredible cocktail kit).
On the day, once you’ve logged into zoom on your device, the bartender will join you from The Bar From Afar ready to teach you not only how to make the drinks, but plenty of entertaining and fun stories from the bar
£45 per person. This covers your ingredients for three cocktails each, cocktail shaker, postage & packing, and a one hour class with your bartender. You can increase the number of drinks we mix, or the length of the class. Just let us know when booking and we can advise on any additional costs.
If you prefer to buy your own ingredients, we’ll give you a shopping list for your chosen cocktails, and the class will cost just £210 for up to 25 people.
Each box we send out contains a range of premium spirits, measured ingredients, cobbler shaker and garnishes. You will also find a contents list and some info on how to get set up for the class.
You’ll need to supply some glassware, ice cubes, and a few bits of kitchen equipment, such as a chopping board, knife, tea-towel, and teaspoon. If you really want to show off, you can buy some pro cocktail kit direct from us, such as boston shakers and fancy bar spoons.
