CAN YOU MUDDLE YOUR OWN MOJITO?
LET US SHOW YOU HOW

We have been teaching cocktail enthusiasts how to make cocktails since 2005, from small groups of hen parties, all the way through to entertaining corporate away-days of over 200 delegates. We can offer a range of different activities, including:

Cocktail Workshops for beginners

Competitive ‘Star Behind the Bar’ cocktail racing

Try your hand at Flair bartending

How to use molecular mixology

Gin tasting / infusions

Remote Workshops from ‘The Bar From Afar’

THE COCKTAIL CLINIC

Designed for the cocktail novices among us and ideal for birthday parties, hen weekends or simply for a fun day.

This comprises of a two hour cocktail making class with one of our specially trained bartenders taking the role as teacher. ‘Students’ are talked through the tools of the mixologist, free-pouring skills, history of cocktails and detailed information on spirits, not forgetting the opportunity to make (and drink!) your own creations of new and classic cocktails.

The class is ended with a quiz and a prize to really test your knowledge.

The Cocktail Clinic is mobile and can be brought to you at your home or rented accommodation (n.b. currently within an hour / 50 miles of Bristol)

TEAM BUILDING

For larger groups and corporate customers, we have a range of great ice-breakers and pre-dinner activities for you.

One of our favourites is where we invite you to ‘Star behind our Bar’. Delegates will race against each other to make a chosen cocktail in the fastest possible time. scores are recorded on a magnetic score board (à la Top Gear) with the fastest mixologist presented with a cocktailshaker set.

For more details on the range of activities we can offer, or if you would like us to create something bespoke for you, give us a call or enquire below.

THE GREAT BRITISH SHAKE OFF

Our latest package is based upon the nation’s favourite show about cakes, however ours comes with a twist (and an olive). We’ll split everyone up into teams, and then present each team with a crate full of ingredients, some labelled, some not, along with a list of cocktails that you need to make within 30 minutes (these may, or may not have the full instructions)

.

Cocktails are judged by our bartender (Paul “shaken not stirred” Hollywood) and the winning team are awarded ’Star Shaker’, along with some prizes.

There will also be some other elements, including the Showstopper Challenge, where the challenge is to create the most intricate garnish upon a simple cocktail.

THE BAR FROM AFAR

From our brand new studio space, we are now able to offer remote cocktail classes for parties as small as 1!  All classes are run by one of our pro cocktail bartenders, and can cover a range of different themes, such as spirits, decades, or even colours.

We prepare, separate, and bottle the ingredients needed, and ship these out to each of your participants. For a box of 3 cocktails, including a mini shaker and garnishes, we charge £45, and the cocktail class is included. You’ll just need to make sure you’ve got some glassware and ice.
