Spooky drinks for Halloween

It’s the spooky time of year again, when we get asked about our favourite Halloween cocktails.

I have always personally felt that the best cocktails for Halloween are just fun classics with a twist!

Here are two examples of fun and super easy halloween cocktails to make at home, that we hope inspire you for a weekend of horror…

‘THE BLOOD OF MARY’

A super spicy jalapeño bloody Maria served in a RTD style (ready to drink) pouch.

40ml El Jimador Blanco tequila

100ml Big Tom Tomato juice mix

Jalapeño brine to taste – I like to add about 10ml for spicy tang but feel free to add more if you like it extra fiery.

Add all ingredients to a mixing glass and stir over ice before decanting into a pouch and storing in the fridge ready for service. These pouches can be found online really easily and are a great way to prepare drinks for guests prior to arrival.

FRANKENSTEIN’S CORPSE REVIVER NO.5

Revive the undead tastebuds with a lively scientific sipper!

25ml London Dry Gin

25ml Creme de Menthe (green, obvs)

25ml Creme De Cacao Blanc

25ml Lemon Juice

10ml Simple Syrup (equal parts sugar and water)

Add all ingredients over crushed ice in your favourite beaker and swizzle until chilled. (swizzle is just a bar term for a quick stir by spinning the end of the spoon to churn the cocktail).

We use a flavour blaster to generate aromatised smoke for a garnish. Something we can provide to add a little theatre to your next cocktail party.
